It's time to replace the tile and pan in my standing tile shower. I can tackle the tile but would rather not do the mortar bed, liner, etc. bit from scratch. Can anyone provide a source for prefabricated shower base/pan upon which the tile can be set? I have seen references to these but cannot locate a source.

Many thanks.

I would suggest calling in a "shower-pan" company to install traditional hot-mop shower pan....125. to 175. in the l.a. area.. could be more or less where you reside. (dont forget to replace the drain while your at it)....erik

We're building new and the shower is an odd size. Our 'cultured marble' guy built the shower pan to exact size and does not require 'mud' underneath as it has built-in slope. Is great.
