Couple of things here I have a Trane gas furnance. I have a new thermostat installed which is a Hunter model 44110. Now the system is a 5 wire system for the heating and cooling. I have a "red"jump start wire which was initially installed on the thermostat. Now I had taken that off because the furnance stayed on constantly. Now I also noticed on the furnace it is the same set up as the thermostat, but it has a "blue" wire that looks similiar to the "red" jump start wire on the thermostat. Now my question is could that be the reason that the furnance is not kicking on when the switch is flipped. I took the "blue" wire off and I don't remember from where I had taken it off. Now the furnance fan/blower does not come on at all when the switch is flipped.Do I need to put the blue u-shaped wire back and if so where does it go? Please advise.
