Is is possible to relocate a circuit breaker without having to rewire the whole thing? Currently my meter is located in the fron of the house and the breaker is all the way in the back. Not to mention that it's located in a basement with access only through the outside. Blow a switch and we have to go out in the rain. Any ideas on how to relocate and what it might cost.

As far as cost goes, there are so many variables, including where you live, that any number anyone gives you on this board is as good as any other number.

Yes, your breaker box can be moved. However, all the circuits will need to be extended to wherever the panel is re-located to. There are quite a few code issues involved, I do not recommend this as a DIY project.

This is a fairly straightforward job for an electrician. Talk to your friends & relatives to see if they know a good electrician, otherwise, hit the yellow pages.
