My garage floor is 21 yrs old. When new I etched and painted it with an epoxy enamel from benj. moore called iron clad chex ware. 12 years later, looking warn I painted it with a garage floor paint (oil base), since the benj. moore iron clad was no longer made. Now 9 years later it needs to be done again. I cleaned and power washed the floor and found paint from Hm Dpt (behr) that is for garage floors and part epoxy, and cleans up with soap and water. After 2 full coats and 2 weeks of drying it scratches off, does not adhere, and blisters with water. I have power washed this stuff off, what a mess and need some help. WHAT PAINT IS AVAILABLE TO PUT ON MY FLOOR, OR WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE THE SURFACE SO SOMETHING WILL STICK! I still have the previous 2 coats of paint in various places. HELP!

A garage floor can be one of the hardest surfaces there is to paint.

You need to go to a real paint store and get some advice from them on what to use on your floor and who knows they might even send someone out to look at your floor and make a reccomendation on what to use.

There are so many products to use on floors that this is really the best I can do while setting in front of a computer screen.
