Lino to Vinyl Tile

Kitchen short term (5 years spruce up) project has me intstalling vinyl tiles in the kitchen. Can I place the tiles directly on the old lino that has been glued down. The whole kitchen will be ripped ot in 5-7 years for a complete modeling job.

Sure you can, but you need an embossing leveler to flatten out the old pattern, make sure you have overage so you can replace tiles when needed in those 5 years.
