Wondered if anyone else has had problems with Lumber liquidators as I have.

I bought flooring for my house, and while I love the flooring, the service at the company is horrible. It took me longer than 30 days to get the flooring installed, after which I had two full boxes I over bought, and wished to return.

I was told that you have 30 days from date of purchase to return any unused portion.

Warning to DIY'ers like me, you better move fast or your going ot be stuck with alot of product you dont need. Also they say that glue down is easy, its not , and is horrible to cleanup

I would never recommend this company to anyone, your better off paying a little more at a reputable chain store. I know Bob Vila is a spokesperson for this company, I bet he never tried to deal with their customer service.

Love to hear if anyone else has had similar experiences

Did lumber liquidators install?

it isn't their fault it took so long for the install if they didn't do it.

Did it say anywhere that you had 30 days for a return when you ordered it?

glue down is easy, but easy is relative....

note to DIY' the fine print and elaborate the questions.....

The receipt does say from date of purchase, however, I picked up the product the week before Thanksgiving, it had to acclimate for a week, per their instructions, and then of course the holidays.

Yes it took me longer than 30 days, took 3 weekends in total. The moral of the story, if you over buy and it takes longer than 30 days, it would have been cheaper to buy it at a major chain home improvement store that stands behind the product they sell.

As someone recently told me , you cant always get affordable along with customer service, the two just dont go hand in hand.

Lesson learned.

Bob Vila is facing millions in lawsuits because he is endorsing a company whose product causes cancer according to a 60 minutes report.
