I need to have my shingles replaced on my roof. I signed up for the free home estimite at ********** and the contractor will be here Saturday. It seems I hear a lot of negitive about ********** contractors but there must be some positive stories?? What are your thoughts?

Funny...I tried to post additional info providing answers to your question...but it must be programmed to weed out anything but praise for the store chain known as "S"...which has "E" as the second letter, and "ARS" as the last 3 letters. Truly patheic. If the purpose of this board is to allow the free flow of truthful answers to questions asked by homeowners, "they" just failed misierably.
So here goes again........
You should ask the very same questions of this Depot feller as you would of any other roofer who showed up on your doorstep.
Do not confuse the National Name Recognition of an outfit whos primary business is selling you things...with that of a reputable outfit whos primary business is installing long-lasting roof systems. Remember you're dealing with a middleman, or possibly MANY middlemen.
There's much more that could be said about this, but at the risk of being censored...again, I'll leave it as is for now.
