I have a leaky faucet in my garage. The faucet was installed in 2005.
it is a ASSE-1019-A which is an industry standard for freeze-proof anti-siphon sillcocks. The pipes are behind a water heater which go
up a storage ceiling. No one seems to know how to open the wall to find the back of the hose. They won't pull it out of the wall because it is made of pvc. My house was built in 2005 and it seems that all the walls were built around the appliances. Tear out the wall to get a hot water heater out.How do you find out where is the back of water hoses?

Three plumbers so far can fix it. What a shame.

What is a storage ceiling? If the leak is from the faucet not shutting off all the way you can replace the valve without tearing into the wall. Turn the water off and drain the system until no water comes out of the faucet. Remove the valve by loosening the nut behind the handle and pull the old valve out. if it's stuck from hard water build up, put it back together and tear out enough drywall to be able to get to the whole thing and remove it. fixing drywall is an easy job so tear out as much as you need.
