Hi,
I have a 1/2" copper pipe coming from a 57 Gal propane tank servicing a 15,000 BTU gas fire. Pipe is 30' from tank to fire. I want to extend the gas line another 8' to service an 80,000 BTU gas stove.
I understand propane can deliver more BTU than natural gas per ft. Something like 2500 vs 1000?
Will the 1/2" Type L copper pipe (gas-tec yellow jacket) be sufficient to service both appliances? Propane tank and copper pipe pics attached.
