Hi, we are currently trying to remodel a house that was once a home for 2 dogs and a cat. The house contains carpet on the floors which have hardwood flooring under the carpet. The animals frequently (at least once a day for over 5 years) urinated all through out the inside of the house in just about every room, which of course made a horrible ammonia/urine type smell that almost knocks you down when you walk into the house and makes my sinuses start to drain after breathing in the air after about 5 minutes. We've started pulling all of the carpet out and only have one room of carpet left to remove, but its not really doing anything to improve the smell. Does anyone have any advise on how to get rid of this smell? Thanks!

The pet store should have some cleaner to remove Pet odors. My mom used Oxiclean, but I don't know if that really works.
