What type of wood should you use for kitchen and bathroom cabinets if you intend to paint them.

If they are to be painted then you can also use MDF or particular board. Both are very stable.....MJH

No... stay away from partical board near an wet areas unless you are going to seal the edges and it doesn't take paint.

Again, MDF is good for paint but bad in wet locals without proper protection, go for the extra couple of dollars and do it right.
