I have a European masonry wood stove that has an odd size fire brick lining the fire box. The brick is not available on the market in the dimensions I need. I have found a company that supplies foundries and kilns that can cut and supply the brick in the size I need. The problem is they are looking for specifics as far as temp ratings and other properties. Does anyone know the temp rating for fire brick used in a typical residential wood stove? The type of stove I have is known as a kachelofen (tile oven).

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the wood stove?
