My home, built in late 1970s has copper wiring but receptacles rated as CU-AL service. I need to replace a couple of standard 15A 125V receptacles. Am I correct in assuming that these old receptacles are approved for either copper or aluminum wiring (thus the CU-AL stamp) and since I have copper wiring the new receptacles I buy need to be rated for CU service only? I ask this since during my recent trip to ***** I could only find CU rated receptacles and none rated CU-AL. Thanks.
