Peeling drywall in Porch Roof
My home's builder complied with building code when he used "interior grade" drywall in the roof of our front porch. It is blistering and peeling badly, but does not appear to be caused by direct water seepage through the roof itself. I need recommendations on how to fix this. Repainting wouldn't appear to eliminate the problem. If I rip out the old drywall - what to replace it with? Vinyl siding? Soffet? Looking for economical, practical solutions.
Either Replace it or install a vinyl soffit ceiling. Maybe check CertainTeeds Website or call a siding contractor for a free estimate. (check Home depot?)
