Previous homeowners installed a kneeboard around the attic perimeter three years ago when they did a roof tear-off. Now there in all of the drywall below this pressure point in all rooms of the house. It appears that the previous owners have dug out and patched this at least once, sometimes twice (depends on the room). What is a more permanent fix? Looks awful.
