Hi! My husband is ripping up the carpet in our kitchen, and it is loaded with glue. How can we remove the glue without destroying the floor underneath? Thanks.

paint Thinner / mineral spirits is a great remover.
use sparingly, & increase amount as necessary.
wear gloves.
Keep area ventilated if possible
use the low odor type
then wash & rinse floor with soap & water.
Linoleum is a wood product,
so soaking can cause problems.
Liquids / water topically is not a problem.
if they get under the floor, through seams or along walls,
this will damage linoleum.
