I know that there is a posting on Kenmore washer won't drain. But how do I open the washing machine? Can you direct me to a site that have pics of the washing maching for Kenmore so that I know how to check for the clogged drain. My washer model number is 110.22702100. Thanks.

** [Kenmore] washer model number 110.22702100. how do I open the washing machine? **

That is a Whirlpool built 'direct drive' washer design. On those the cabinet is removed for most internal service. You can read how to access the pump and its related hoses at the following link:

** My kenmore washer **

I'm afraid that is not enough information to identify the appliance in question. What is needed is its exact model number.

You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances at the following link:

- Model Number Tag Search

** isn't draining what do you think is the problem **

It could be any number of things depending on its design. Possibilities might include a plugged or kinged drain hose, a problem in the pump or pump motor (if used on whatever model of Kenmore washer you have) or a blockage in one of the internal hoses.

Does it do everything else besides just not drain the water?
