Last week I saw a Bob Vila commercial on TV featuring a new style ratchet, which I thought was by *****. In addition to working like a normal ratchet, this one is designed to rotate the socket by twisting the handle. I thought this was a very innovative idea and a must have. Unfortunately, I cannot find the ratchet anywhere. I've been to 3 ***** stores and have hunted online for hours. Did anyone else see this commercial? I don't drink and I'm pretty certain I was not dreaming.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Matt

i know that mac tools sells one like you describe, but i think it may be marketed under their parent company, stanley tools. i'm an auto tech, and the fellow that works next to me owns one, and i know he purchased it within the last year.

sorry if i stepped on any toes 'naming names'.

I am not a moderator, but I think naming names is OK as long it as it is in a positive manner such as saying who makes or markets an item. naming names in a derogatory manner is not OK, ie saying company XYZ makes lousy items.

Moderators, you may remove this post if you do not agree with my statements.
