I had my hot water tank change and ever since then I have no hot water pressure.it was low before but now it is worse.I want to take appart the faucet is this a good idea?

Lisamh07 - hi, it certainly sounds like you've got some sort of clog in the hot water line. If you don't feel comfortable taking the faucet apart, though, it's best to find someone who is comfortable with it. Depending on the type of faucet you have, there's several small parts - gaskets, springs, seats, etc. - that can get lost but are needed. You should be able to find general details at your faucter manufacturer's website - you may be able to download a parts diagram as well. Also, there are homeowner-friendly how-to books on sale at most big-box stores that can guide you through this. Please note sometimes special tools are required - so again, if you're not certain, you should find someone who's comfortable with it. Regards! Jim D/West Point, VA
