I live in a multilevel house so the hot water heating pipes run through the downstairs of the house and through the garage right below the ceiling and then up to the 2nd story bedroom.

Since it is sub zero out and will be for a while is there any problem with the pipes in the garage freezing. I can not get up there to wrap anything around them and keep the heat on 7 or 71 during the day and 68 at night. I am 71 and have no one to wrap my garage pipes up and can not afford a handyman. Money is just soooo tight.

Thank you.

They make a very small electric heater Disc (Pelonis) type 110 V great for supplemental heating as long as there are no flammable vapors present

Although money is tight a broken heating line will cost a lot more then running the heat a little higher then normally.

Do not allow the garage to get lower then 40 deg
