Bob, we have an adult special needs daughter and I am needing some plans so that I can build a entrance ramp for her. Ref:48" to 60" wide,3" rise, and about 6ft long with handrails set inside the ramp. If you could help with this it would be greatly appreciated by our family. I have searched but have not found anything on the internet. My daughter uses an electric wheelchair.
Thank you for your help-

I tried to find the plans onsite but kept getting directed somewhere else.
I did a search for wheelchair plans and came up several different plans. Hope this helps

ADA Requires a 1:12 slope ratio which works out to be one foot of wheelchair ramp for each inch of rise. For instance, a 20 inch rise requires a 20 foot wheelchair ramp.
ADA Requires a Minimum 5’ x 5’ Flat area at the top and bottom of the ramp.
ADA Requires a Minimum 36 inches of clear space across the wheelchair ramp.
ADA Requires a Minimum Platform size is 5’ x 5’
ADA Requires a Maximum of 30 feet in a single run of wheelchair ramp prior to a rest or turn platform.
ADA Requires handrails on both sides of the wheelchair ramp

I have not found plans for you as of now, However here are some of the basic design criteria you want to consider.
