I have a kenmore auto demand 75 softener and I am trying to figure out which way the gasket is installed under the nozzle and venturi. This assembly needs to be cleaned periodically, and when I removed the parts, the gasket under the nozzle and venturi fell on the ground. I now have a 50/50 chance of reinstalling it properly. Either the hole in the gasket goes to the right of the cutout on the outer edge of the gasket, or I flip it over so the hole is to the left of the cutout. If anyone can help I surly will appreciate it since ***** only sells parts and can't help unless I schedule a service call.

I'm not familiar with that product so can't be of much help but have you tried looking up the parts list for your model on $ears PartsDirect web site to see if you can tell from that? How about in the owner's manual?
