I redid my entire bathroom and just realized I ran a hot water line to my toilet. The room is finished and it would be a major ordeal to change it. Would it be bad if I left it?

They're designed for cold water, and I would think they may melt with hot. Ditto for the other components in the tank, especially the flapper. Plus, it's not going to be very comfortable to get a bit of a splash from hot water...

hot water would promote bacterial and mold growth. I bet the smell of warm stool would be wonderful
