My boyfriend is redoing the downstairs apartment for our landlord. The building was built in 1872, needless to say, the pipes are disgusting. One of the threads is stuck in the T pipe. Nobody we know can figure out how to get it out. The pipes are galvenized. We have tried numerous strategies, I tried dishsoap, he tried a torch, we used a wrench to try to unscrew it, and nothing is budging. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Anything is greatly appreciated.......

Try using an aerosol spray that breaks up rust.
