Hi,

I've used Lepage Polyfix to repair an area (appx. 1 sq.ft)were the paint was peeling.
I also filled alot of nail holes/dents & a couple deep holes near the window(used Durabond 90). These walls have a skim coat of drywall compound over a "cement board" type of material.

Does it matter if I use a latex or oil based primer? Should I prime the whole area or just use the latex paint after I've primed all the spots. I plan to use a somewhat flat latex paint on this wall in the livingroom.

thks,
Kali

You will need to prime the entire wall with an acrylic latex primer to get an even finish even if you are using flat for the finish.
