I recently removed the frost from an old window that had apparently been sprayed on years ago. It left behind a fog on the window that is not coming off despite many attempts with many cleaners. Any advice on how to remove this?

Thanks for any help!

You might try some more "harsh" chemicals like acetone, or mild acids like vinegar, but probably the glass has been etched by acids in whatever the old "frosting spray" contained.

Glass replacement may be required to get rid of the unsightly panes.

Try lacquer thinner. Cuts most stuff, will not etch the glass, may remove paint from painted windows will now damage vinyl or aluminium
