This article came at a great time for me to read. Right now I am getting quotes for a small master bathroom redo. My mind is spinning because I am getting some different information from home remodelers. Here are some of my questions:
I am replacing the fiberglass shower, vanity, and toilet. All the plumbing stays where it is and I am planning to get the same exact shower faucet kit by the same brand. Do I need a plumber to do this work? Two out of the 3 contractors, but not licensed plumbers said that this is straightforward and they can do it.
I want narrow grout lines and one contractor recommended 1/16 and the other said 1/8. Second thought 1/16 was to narrow and would risk cracking over time.I am not using glass tile, but 10 x 22 tile on the shower wall.
Grout - one highly recommended epoxy and the other just recommended grout that holds up for the bathroom. How does these two options compare to Bostik's TruColor mentioned in your article.
Any other tips and suggestions to make a small bathroom look bigger.
