Currently we have carpet, we think to replace with hardwood floor. But afriad it wll feel colder.
Any insulation should use between subfloor and hardwood floor?
Thanks,
hard surfaces by nature have a cooler feel.
just make sure you house it plugged up tight and draft free. If drafty, seal exterior walls at the base, door casings, and at window casings are the best methods.
you wont ever get a hard surface to feel as warm as carpet without radiant in-floor heating.
