Acetone should remove paint from the glass however, you need to be careful with the plastics as Acetone will attack some plastics.Charcoal starter fluid cleans pretty well also but use caution discarding any cloths as they can be a fire hazard.

Thnak you Matches! I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I actually was able to get it all off with window cleaner and very soft steel wool. I also had paint on the car and was able to remove that with lacquer thinner. I never would have thought of using these things for fear they would do serious damage, but my car looks like new!!!
