Replace or repair ceiling molding???
We bought a home about a year ago and I've finally had enough with all the shoddy craftsmanship performed by the previous owner. Previous owner added on an addition, but it's obvious he didn't do the best job. The molding around the ceiling in the bedroom has significant gaps between it and the ceiling. At first we thought there weren't enough nail holding it in, but it feels pretty secure. There are sections that are touching the ceiling and look fine and then others that don't. I'm not really sure if this is something I should try and fill or completely take down and replace? Could it be that it's not level and that's why the molding isn't touching? The molding is in decent condition (needs a new coat of paint, that's about it).
