I have a post tension foundation, the tension end of the cables are exposed and are rusted on the end. Should the ends have been capped to prevent rusting and if not will this eventually cause a problem in the furture?

I've seen the cables on some post tensioned concrete beams left exposed, and given their strength and thickness, a bit of rust will probably not cause a problem, but they should really be grouted up.

Thanks, most of the cables are grouted, just a few exposed. I will grout the exposed cables.

Thanks again for the advice.
